About Twist
Twist is a young design studio and we are growing fast! After only launching in March 2021 we’re already 8 people (full & part-time) with a mix of UX, UI and Graphic skills, and working both remote and on-site in our Bournemouth office. We have people that have worked for incredible companies like Deliveroo, Klarna and more. We are on a mission to make it easy for early-stage companies to get access to quality and experienced design. Who are we looking for?
Key qualities
- You are a great communicator, collaborator and have good stakeholder management skills
- You can communicate conceptual ideas and design decisions succinctly and effectively
- You care about the impact of your work and can deliver high-quality design work at pace
- Experience in both rebranding established brands and developing compelling new brands for start-ups
- Strategic thinker and able to work across a number of different sectors and brand types
- Excellent use of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Efficient with time and prepared to join an extremely fast-paced environment
- Willing to contribute to a culture of collaboration, share skills across teams, and work well as part of a diverse team.
Bonus points for
- Experience working with early-stage startups
- Experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro would be advantageous
What you’ll do
Design epic brand experiences
You’ll be working with incredible tech startups & scale-ups on different types of projects and brands, from fintech to foodtech and everything inbetween.
Work with great clients, building meaningful products
We don't expect you to have any “account experience”, nor do it all alone. But we think that the best work happens when our designers actually talk to our clients. No middle-people.
Sweat the details
We care about the details, so you should too. You’ll think about the broader system design and sweat the small stuff when polishing UI and interactions.
Work in a fast paced environment
You’re comfortable working as part of a small team, covering all stages of the design process and enjoy the autonomy and unpredictability that comes with an early stage company.
