About Twist
Twist is a young design studio and we are growing fast! After only launching in March 2021 we’re already 8 people (full & part-time) with a mix of UX, UI and Graphic skills, and working both remote and on-site in our Bournemouth office. We have people that have worked for incredible companies like Deliveroo, Klarna and more. We are on a mission to make it easy for early-stage companies to get access to quality and experienced design. Who are we looking for?
Key qualities
- You are a great communicator, collaborator and have good stakeholder management skills
- You are a systematic thinker who can translate complex problems into simple and intuitive user experiences
- You have solid knowledge of UX design processes and methodologies, but are adaptive and always happy to try out new approaches
- You are proficient in Figma and able to create and work with design systems
- You have a good understanding of product process & strategy fundamentals
- You have a strong desire to get to the root of customers’ problems
- You can communicate conceptual ideas and design decisions succinctly and effectively
- You care about the impact of your work and can deliver high-quality design work at pace
Bonus points for
- Experience working with early-stage startups
- Bonus points for if you have experience with Webflow
What you’ll do
Design epic websites, apps and experiences
You’ll be working with incredible tech startups & scale-ups on different types of projects and problems from web design to mobile app design and specific features or problems.
Work with great clients, building meaningful products
We don't expect you to have any “account experience”, nor do it all alone. But we think that the best work happens when our designers actually talk to our clients. No middle-people.
Sweat the details
We care about the details, so you should too. You’ll think about the broader system design and sweat the small stuff when polishing UI and interactions.
Work in a fast paced environment
You’re comfortable working as part of a small team, covering all stages of the design process and enjoy the autonomy and unpredictability that comes with an early stage company.
